Our events are held at Danbury Leisure Centre which is a 3 storey building with stair only access between the floors.
We have accessible toilets on both the Reception level off Main Road car park and on the lower ground floor Sports Hall level from Mayes Lane car park. The upper floors is our gym and fitness suite only.

Danbury Village Summer Fête – 5th July 2025
Join us for a quintessentially British summer celebration at the Danbury Village Summer Fête on Saturday 5th July 2025, held at the Danbury Leisure Centre and surrounding fields. Whether you’re a local or visiting for the day, this fun-filled event promises something for everyone in the family, from traditional games and attractions to live entertainment, local food stalls, and much more!

Traditional Fête Fun: Experience the charm of a classic village fête with all your favourite attractions:
- Bouncy Castles and Games (local fee may apply)
- Face Painting for the little ones and the young at heart! (local fee applies)
- Human Fruit Machine and other classic games that are perfect for family fun.
Local Stalls & Shopping: Browse through a wide range of local stalls offering handmade goods, crafts, plants, jewellery, and unique gifts. Whether you’re looking for a special keepsake, a new home decoration, or some fresh produce, you’ll find something to take home while supporting local artisans and businesses.
Food & Drink: Treat your taste buds to a variety of delicious food from local food vendors. Enjoy traditional summer fare such as freshly made burgers, sausages, ice cream, and candy floss. There will also be food stalls, afternoon teas, and a selection of cakes and bakes to satisfy any craving. Don’t forget to grab a refreshing drink indoors from our bars or from our pop-up stalls, perfect for cooling off on a summer’s day.
Live Entertainment: Relax and enjoy the live music and performances throughout the day, with something for all tastes. From local bands and singers to children’s entertainers and dancers, there will be plenty of talent to keep the atmosphere lively and exciting.
Charity and Community Stalls: The Summer Fête is not just about fun—it’s also about supporting our local charities and community groups. Visit the charity stalls to learn more about the incredible work they do, and find out how you can get involved or lend your support.

Parking
- Parking is NOT available on-site, with the exception of Blue Badge Holders. Please use other parking in surrounding areas.
